An affiliate of Walton Street Capital, L.L.C. (“Walton Street”) announced that it has acquired Eastlake at Tillery, a newly-developed, two-building, Class-A, LEED-certified office campus spanning 176,696sf, located at 3212 E. Cesar Chavez St. in the East Austin submarket of Austin, TX (“Eastlake at Tillery” or the “Property”) in partnership with Cypress Real Estate Advisors, Inc. (“CREA”). 

Australia-based Canva Inc. has signed a lease for 36,932 square feet of Eastlake’s Building 1, it was announced Oct. 29. The deal was signed this month. Canva, a company that developed online graphic design software, has been expanding in Austin ever since announcing arrival back in summer 2020, when it had around 20 employees in town. 

After buying a division of Austin-based Silicon Laboratories Inc., California-based Skyworks Solutions Inc. has leased more than 90,000 square feet of office space at Eastlake at Tillery, according to multiple sources.

Since Jan. 2, 44 site plans have been submitted to the city of Austin.
